Are you only looking for activity books for children to stay entertained at home during the summer or look for things that must be done on a long car trip, each activity book on this list has become a hit in our family!

I don’t like road travel but we finally do quite a lot from them every year for family reunions, a trip to see my parents in Las Vegas, and camping or adventure with friends.

Which means I am always looking for things that must be done in the long journey of the car (because in the end my children are sick of playing on the tablet) and one of my favorite things to be packaged in their backpacks is an activity book for children.

The activity book also became a big hit in a long afternoon when my children need something to make them entertained.

Whether you travel or live at home, this activity book is some of our favorite and have been loved in our home (and cars!).

Painting with stickers
You know the books of these children’s stickers will be here, because I raose about them here. I was obsessed with this and so did my girls. My four girls (from the age of 13-7) liked this and can do it without help. I like that it is entirely independent (there is no sign or crayon or other inventory needed) and that makes them busy for hours. I can’t recommend this higher. The child’s version is better for the younger children (my youngest did so much than this during the locking when he was only 3 years old), while the adult version was more fun for my older girls (around 9+).

When this activity book first came out, my girls could not get enough -whenever it was calm in our house, I could almost guarantee they were on the sofa together -the same as working on puzzles or games or labyrinths in this giant activity book. By the same writer who wrote Doodle adventure Where there is a storyline that you add your own image and orat.

Sleep Mathematics: A fun reason for staying up late
When you think “the book activity book for children,” you might not immediately think of mathematics, but we buy this for Ella for her birthday when she is five or six years old, and it’s a pleasant concept. Each page has a kind of simple story and then mathematical questions ranging from very basic to more complicated. Basically the problem of the story in a very pleasant format. From our 3-year-old child who can manage easy calculation problems to our fifth grade students, this is very successful and fun for dinner conversations, when you hunt for things that must be done on a long car trip, or as a mathematical exercise before going to sleep. There are four books in the series.

We are in the art of art-ivivity!
Our family likes Elephant and Piggie, so of course the Elephant and Piggie activity books are no-Brainer. There are games and art instructions and are as fantastic as you expect. My girls liked him so much that they used it to make a big art exhibition in Ella’s room and then accused Bart and I came in to come to see art. That’s amazing.

Querkles: Color with Number
This is very spectacular. When you open a book, everything just looks like a group of lumps, but when you start coloring, animal images appear like magic. The books of this activity have been widely used in our homes for the past year.

Summer brain search
I grew up in the Brain Quest and I was happy when my daughter preschool teacher sent every child home a few years ago with a book -book search for summer brain for children. They are packed with colorful illustrations, stickers, maps of progress and all kinds of fun activities that also educate. This is basically a perfect cross between activity books and educational workbooks. Plus, my children like to use it when they play school.

ED Emberley Animal Picture Book
I first discovered Ed Emberley as a school librarian when her books were examined every day by my students and then my woman in-law gave us some of her books for Christmas and they were very popular. If my girls become nervous, take out some papers, markers and books, this makes everyone happy for a long time. (And even happier if I turn on the podcast for them to listen to when they draw – our favorite is this one and this one).

Book Color Trianimals by Numbers
I like this beautiful color book – very fun to add colors and then see beautiful animals appear. My older girls are obsessed with this and spend hours for books of this activity when they listen to audio books.

Wow Wow Painting Book
This is the best simple activity book for children, especially toddlers or preschool children who may have more problems with activity books that involve reading. All you do is fill in the brush that is included with water and then you can paint on the page and miraculously change color. Then dry and a few minutes later, you can do everything again. I bought this for my girls at a Christmas and they were used almost every day or even six months later (they did not last forever and we might get a replacement, but each of them was less than $ 5, I was fine with it).

Hidden picture book spotlight
My girls are obsessed with hidden image activities for children -they are fun to do alone and with a partner. Plus, they are thin and light, so they don’t spend a lot of space or add a lot of weight to backpacks or wallets!

How to draw all animals for children -children
This funny learning is how to draw books, is our birthday present because everyone really likes it. This is good for children for ages 5-13ish. There are many options to choose from and each image has step by step instructions. Plus, they get additional points to be a measure of the trip so they barely take space!

Escape this book
Books This activity is intended for children around the age of 8 years and over, the author describes this as a mixture of adventure of choosing your own, meeting me congratulations, meeting books that cross out. They are very interesting and will definitely maintain the attention of children during a long car trip or rainy day at home. There are three different versions, all of which are the same -the same amazing!

Sodoku’s ledger
My girls like the puzzles of the cerebellum and Sudokus only that. I especially like this special Sudoku book because it has a different level in all books, making it easy to circulate in a car or at home for various age groups. I also like it to be bound by a spiral, so you don’t have to fight to stay open. Turn on the audio book and start working through the puzzles … sounds like the right time for me!

Folding animal
If you have children who like to make something from paper, this book is suitable for you. The best thing about it is that it does not require glue, no scissors and no tape, but you end up with extraordinary 3D animals! My children really like this one!

So many letter stickers
This sticker book is all letters for writing messages, notes, journal titles and more. With many different letters and designs to choose from it, keep your hands busy! It would be fun to use this to pass the alternating records in the car or on the plane! My seven -year -old child and nine years really like this one!

Foldology Origami Set
This origami set is very popular month after month! Thousands of you have taken it for an Easter basket, land trip, flight flight, or save a birthday prize. This makes my girls completely entertained in our long flights to/from Australia.

Murmured JR
I give this to my girls to Easter and they are very successful! For children who like brain teasers or wordle type games, this version makes them detective when they solve mystery for mystery. They have an adult version (also sold!) If you think you will be happy to do this too! (I ordered children to Ella who was 14 years old but finally bought her adults after she blew the children in the afternoon.
