Across the Pennines to Lytham St Annes – Road Gordon’s journey (part two)

After we left the Durham Cathedral, we faced the journey through Pennines to Lytham St Annes.

To be honest, I’m quite excited. My mother came from Liverpool, and I grew up by hearing stories about how she went to Pennines (I assumed by coach or bus) to Blackpool. Considering we have beautiful weather in Durham, I did not expect our trip to pass Pennines to be done in the heavy rain, fog and fog, so we could not really see where we were going. It turned out that we were in the A66 and M6-but but still felt pennine-ish.

We stopped several times and decided to have a McDonald’s-I-only that we did very around in the shelter next to the dried cheese burger. I of course add to the atmosphere by spraying tomato sauce from the burger in all my dresses …

When we drive to the seafront in Lytham, the sun shines, soy sauce has dried up, and I sing “I can see the sea”.

We were ordered to Off the coastAn inn that has a true position -is extraordinary on the front of the sea. Part of the Inn collection group, Offshore is very dog -friendly with a favorite Doggy Sir Woofchester Rollo that is sold at the Bar. Of course, Rollo stopped at the big counter of the counter when we checked -in. And yes, the handsome face was offered some snacks.

On the top floor in the wide room of our first floor of the sea, I did four on the bed and lay on the six -foot giant bed, declaring it “perfect”.

It’s too late for lunch, and too early for dinner, so we do one -only possible: we walk along the front of the sea to find ice cream.
