A friend when you can use it

Friends always come to me from time to time when they pass through a difficult place, maybe they have something unpleasant in their lives, or maybe they just despair for something to happen and want a little extra support. My job is to listen, ask questions and then use my writing skills to create something really beautiful that lifts their souls and see them, give them a little confidence; The feeling that they are not alone, that they have been heard, and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I always see it like writing a unique recipe, doing something that allows the person to feel like they take back control, complete a kind of physical action or ritual that allows the person to feel like they are ‘doing something’ positive, rather than just floundering, beaten from pillars to post emotionally. I saw it a little like a self -help book, taking action without having to read an invalid page and page.

Often, the reasons behind their approach revolve around loss, sadness or fear, but sometimes their situations are more complex. Which says, this can be about something like buying a house, wanting a new job or just wanting to move forward in life. It is my job to take all the colorful strands in their lives or dilemmas and then weave them, such as yarn through cloth, a pattern of action that allows them to breathe and take back control over their situation.

For some reason, I am very busy this year. I am not sure whether it is the chaos of the world now or only that our lives are very complicated lately so that more and more people find themselves spinning out of control and looking for something to hold.

My ‘Go-to’ at all times is nature, letting myself be based on the simplicity and perfection of the world. Agapanthus giant in the park; Forested forecasts with jut branches; Freshness that sparkling from the river bottom or standing on the edge of the sea, buried your toes on the sand, all bring you back to the beauty of uncomplicated attention. There is nothing more healing and stronger than aligning yourself with your environment in the open, really -really seeing what is around you and appreciate the beauty that you follow -absorbing the excitement that peaks and permeates through the gaps of our lives.

Last night was one of the time. At night, I guided a friend to Morton, my favorite. I found Morton when I first moved here, and I have liked it since then. It feels like a secret that only a few of us ‘in knowledge that knows’, when in fact, there is nothing like that, because it is strong on the tourist map. That is not a problem, because there is a very real beauty and spiritual quality to a place that is difficult to beat or say. River, church; Both of them called me like a siren in the sea, and I found myself pulled back there many times.

Of course, the symbolism is clear: a church with a beautiful small grave that makes the dead; Soft ghosts sit quietly on an old bench. The river is clear crystal, cleaning when rushing forward, arouses admiration and miracle. On both sides, trees rise like river guard, lively colors and strong limbs from towering majesty, overthrowing sunlight with quality like a cave. Wild orchids lie along the riverbank, wearing pastel pink and summer white skin; They gently bend their heads with greetings, ripples movements like a gentle breeze from water. High in the trees, a fortress colony, their rantak nest perched precariously, calling dusk, a sign of this change, forever connected with the practice of magical and gods of the past. This is my world, what I see and feel there.

We parked the car and walked to the riverbank, resting on the bridge to wear our water shoes, but once we sat, something gently pushed my back. I don’t know where the black and white cats have come from now. He immediately climbed on my shoulder, the head rubbed my friend and me, really fun and shamelessly welcomed. We took a little time to appreciate it. I moved my hand along, feeling the gentle warmth of his coat, my fingers dug it to his velvet skin, because all the time I spoke gently with him.

But dusk calls; We need to attend our business there. Appears on our water shoes and rolling our pants, we sailed the river, which turned out to be warm and very soothing. All the time we pedal, our hairy friends sat upright, watching the road, the tip of his tail moved -moved as he guarded our shoes, sat next to our bag and keep them safe.

Finished, we took a moment, holding hands, standing in heavy water to appreciate our environment before wading the back, just to find a rather beautiful hag on our road and mature to pick. Reaching our belongings, our furry friends are waiting, snoring gently while we dry our feet and wear our shoes. When I stood up, he gave me one rubbing his last, turning it back and Sashayed to the bush. I called him, thanked him for his friendship and guarded our shoes, but he disappeared as if he had never been there.

When my friend and I walked back to the car, I couldn’t comment, “Well, he’s a good sign for you if you’ve been there!” This makes them laugh.

Something I know is my protest about never looking back. I have said it a thousand times, because I believe living life is about going forward. You cannot change the past, but you can learn from it, so moving forward is one of your healthy choices. My hairy friend is a visual metaphor that does not disappear to my friend or me. Driving home, I can’t stop smiling.

Thank you, Puss Cat, wherever you are now, whoever you are now paying attention to. I saw you and I was grateful.
