For some children, reading is not very interesting.
Sometimes this is a problem with their reading skills that make reading very unattractive when it is hard work.
Sometimes traditional novels don’t achieve it.
Whatever the reason, if you have reluctant readers, try some of these books to involve children who are not connected to traditional novels!

Books for readers who are reluctant

Murmured JR by GT Karber
2 books in series // 240 pages
Books of breaking up this pleasant puzzle are a mystery with many instructions to decipher and puzzles to decompose -this version makes it a detective when they solve mystery for mystery. I got this for my children for Easter and they were very successful (I finally got an adult version for my 15 -year -old child because the JR version was quite easy for him).

Puzzle adventure series by Russell Punter
6 book series // 50-80 pages
I bought JR Murdle’s book for my children, but they were a little complicated for my 8 -year -old child. I bought this interactive mystery book for him and he was instantly captivated! They are full of color and style of graphic novels with puzzles and puzzles on every page. Perfect for readers who want something more interactive than your typical novel.

Instruction By Hartigan Browne
4 book series // 224 pages
This is another fun series for readers who like good puzzles. In this installment, children cooperate with private investigators Hartigan Browne to solve 50 smart puzzles and pursue instructions about lost dogs, stolen diamonds, and many village secrets. This is the mystery part, some brain teasers, and really unbearable for young detectives.

Graphic novel
If your child is a reluctant reader, the best way for them to enjoy reading is correctly reading. If they are willing to read graphic novels, it gives them the practice they really need to be more fluent and more confident. And that is extraordinary. Plus, graphic novels often have a colorful page and less frightening text that makes them very attractive to children. I have two very great lists of books – Graphic novels for middle class readers, and graphics novels for initial basic readers if you need help find the perfect book!

Choose your own adventure by Ra Montgomery
Book Series 94 // 96 Pages
Ella and I went on a dating a little to the library and I saw a large collection of your own adventure book. I chose one for Ella and she was immediately addicted! I still remember my own original chose your own adventure book that my mother bought in a used bookstore when I was 8 or 9 years old. These books, which have a plot that allows you to choose different options along the way have several different lately and this is a completely different reading experience.

Escape this bookLai By Bill Doyle, illustrated by Sarah Sax
3 book series // 192 pages
Books This activity is intended for children around the age of 8 years and over. The author describes this as a mixture of adventure to choose your own, meet me happy, meet a book that scribbles. They are so interesting and will definitely maintain the attention of children when reading may usually not attract them. There are three different versions, all of which are the same -the same amazing!

Case files that have not been solved by Tom Sullivan
3 book series // 110 pages
Nonfiction series graphics about real FBI cases that have never been resolved. They are packed with pleasant illustrations, newspaper clippings, and theories about what can happen. My children and I really like this series.

Encyclopedia Brown Series by Donald J. Sobol
29 Book series // 96 pages
I read and re-read this as a child, like the challenge of trying to finish every mystery before slipping in the answers behind-and honestly, I hope I have a memory of encyclopedis like that. Short styles and episodic make them perfect to take there -here without the need to commit to the full story, and now my girls like to test themselves in the same way.
